Hello !

I’m Jane Chesworth, a trauma-informed certified Breathwork facilitator, Belief Coding® coach, and Reiki Master. I founded The Breath Sanctuary to support you on your journey to inner balance and personal mastery.. I was born in the historic city of Wrexham, North Wales.

From a young age, I was deeply tuned in to my emotions and to the feelings of those around me. I was always trying to make others happy and gain their approval. Striving in all aspects of my life, I kept pushing myself to over give every day, and in doing so, I lost touch with my own needs, not listening to myself, my gut and putting my needs to one side. Over time, this took a huge toll on my well-being. I felt constantly drained, overwhelmed by stress, and weighed down by anxiety and depression. My body felt the effects too—my energy completely disappeared, my blood pressure went through the roof, and I felt trapped in a cycle of exhaustion and totally fatigued !…. I didn’t know how to break the cycle, which way to turn or who I needed help me get myself back to being me. I knew something had to change. I needed to stop just getting through life, waking up and just wishing for the day to end…. I was at my rock bottom- and the only way from there was to take control and do something differently

What outcome did I want… That was easy - I wanted to start truly living—on my own terms, in my full exuberance, happy full of life totally in my power - in a way that I felt nurtured, balanced, and live authentically. That’s when Energy Healing and the Breath found me…. I learned the way through was to pause and meet myself where I was . I couldn’t believe it at first….. I had the answer right here… within ME!!

That’s when I knew I had to do everything in my power to share the power of our breath… the way we treat our breath is just terrible, we don’t give it any thought we push past it because its always available and look for the answer in doing, grabbing onto the newest external offering and hoping, praying that this will do it for us - I know Ive tried lots of the same things..

My wish for you is you try listening to your own breath, just pause and sit with yourself - no equipment or special clothing needed… just the ground and you exactly as you are in this moment.

I discovered Reiki in 2017, Breathwork in 2018 and realised I had been living in a constant fight, flight, and mostly freeze state. My breathing was beyond shallow, mostly in my throat and right at the top of my chest, my comfort zone was holding my breath, leaving my body tense and me completely disassociated. Discovering the transformative power of the breath was absolutely life-changing for me.

I became a certified trauma-informed Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator through an intense, science-based program focused on supporting clients with complex traumas’ and understanding the link between breath and wellness.

The natural technique of breath helps achieve whole-body wellness through the nervous system regulation. Our Breath, its the first thing and the last thing we do on this Earth… lets enjoy each and every day with full and energised breaths.
