I’m Jane Chesworth, a trauma-informed certified Breathwork facilitator, Belief Coding® coach, and Reiki Master. I founded The Breath Sanctuary to support you on your journey to inner balance.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by daily stress, navigating the challenges of menopause, struggling with anxiety, or carrying the weight of chronic stress or past trauma, know that you’re not alone. I’m here to help you reconnect with your breath, regulate your nervous system, and create space for deep relaxation, restful sleep, and healing—both physically and emotionally.
With gentle guidance and a compassionate approach, I’ll support you in finding steadiness within, so you can move through life with greater ease and resilience.
Meet Jane
I was born in the historic town of Wrexham, North Wales.
From a young age, I was deeply tuned in to the emotions of those around me, always trying to make others happy and gain their approval. But in doing so, I lost touch with my own needs, pushing my true self aside.
Over time, this took a toll on my well-being. I felt constantly drained, overwhelmed by stress, and weighed down by anxiety. My body started to show the effects too—my energy disappeared, my blood pressure rose, and I felt trapped in a cycle I didn’t know how to break.
That was when I realised something had to change. I needed to stop just getting through life, waking and waiting for the day to end..and start truly living—on my own terms, in a way that felt peaceful, balanced, and true to me.
I discovered Reiki in 2017, Breathwork in 2018 and realised I had been living in a constant fight, flight, and mostly freeze state. My breathing was beyond shallow, mostly in my throat and right at the top of my chest, my comfort zone was holding my breath, leaving my body tense and me completely disassociated. Discovering the transformative power of breath was absolutely life-changing for me.
I became a certified trauma-informed Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator through an intense, science-based program focused on supporting clients with complex traumas’ and understanding the link between breath and wellness.
This natural technique of breath helps achieve whole-body wellness through the nervous system regulation. Our Breath, its the first thing and the last thing we do on this Earth… lets enjoy our breath through all of our life.
No matter our age, we can always learn new ways to breathe—ways that bring clarity, peace, and calm into every stage of life.

My mission is to help you discover the power of your breath, releasing stress, easing heavy emotions, and creating a safe space for healing and self-discovery.
Through simple yet powerful breathing techniques, we’ll work together to calm the mind, soothe the body, and gently explore any fears or challenges that may be holding you back. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, find balance, and move through life with more ease and joy.
As a certified Breathwork Practitioner with the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, I am deeply committed to guiding you on this path.
Breathwork isn’t just about taking a quick breath in and out….. It’s about finding clarity, peace, and a deeper connection to yourself and those around you. It can help release anxiety, grief, fear, and stress while welcoming in more calm, gratitude, creativity, and connection.
